Glen Mhor Cottage

The cottage is a 3 bedroom property with a double room, twin room and single room. There is one bathroom with toilet, bath and separate shower cubicle. One main reception room and a kitchen/diner with a Rayburn cooker. Outside, there is a small garden with spectacular views to the Isle of Skye and the water’s edge is 100 yards from the door!

A small walk away up the hill through the village takes you towards the Viewing Point, a local memorial to soldiers lost in conflict and from there you have wonderful views across the Sound of Sleat.

Inside the cottage is very comfortable with plenty of seating and dining table and chairs for 4. There are some games and books for a rainy day. Kindly note the cottage is non smoking, pets are not allowed and the fireplace is not in use.

We would respectfully ask that visitors use the back door for entering into and out of the property as there is a small drying area for coats and boots. The lounge contains a TV as well as a DVD player. There is also wireless broadband at the property, the code is on the kitchen noticeboard. Due to low coverage mobile/cell phone connection is patchy however e-mail works within the property. In the small utility room there is a freezer and washing machine/dryer and the kitchen contains a dishwasher, microwave, slow cooker and sandwich maker. You are welcome to use the Rayburn cooker with the instructions on the kitchen noticeboard.

Pots/pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, iron and ironing board, clothes airer are all available as are a travel cot and high chair for smaller children. There is plenty of bedding and towels and a picnic basket and flasks are also available for use. The bedrooms are light, airy and comfortable and all contain drawer space for holiday clothes.
