Making a reservation

You can check availability on line, by phone, or by letter. If required, or preferred, we can send you a booking form, but, you can book here, on-line.

The cottage is rented on a “per week” basis from Saturday to Saturday. We are unable to cater for “short stays” or “long weekends”.

A deposit will be required to confirm your booking. This can be processed on-line and, in any event, the balance of payment due must be paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival date. If a provisional booking is made by means of a phone call or in writing, requiring a booking form to be sent out, the dates required will be reserved for 10 days. If the completed form and deposit are not received within 10 days, this reservation will be cancelled. On receipt of the completed form and deposit a written confirmation will be issued.

Bookings made within 6 weeks of the arrival date are payable in full.

Cancellation

If you are required to cancel a reservation for any reason we must be notified immediately, by telephone (01463 223621) and this confirmed in writing within 5 days. In the event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to re-let the property and, if successful, we will refund 75% of your rental charge. However, if unsuccessful, the following will apply:

Less than 6 weeks from your arrival date you will be liable to pay the full rental.
More than 6 weeks from your arrival date, your deposit will be forfeited.

Arrivals & deprtures

The cottage will be ready you from 4.00 pm on your arrival date and must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of your departure. The house should be left in a clean and tidy condition as it will be when you arrive and the cost of any damage caused will be charged for, in full.

Holiday Protection

To reduce the cost and inconvenience of cancelled bookings, we would strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance. This should cover the loss or damage to personal effects as well cancellation and curtailment insurance. Vehicles, accessories and contents are left at their owners risk. The proprietors will not be responsible for any loss or damage or injury to persons or effects not caused through the fault of the proprietors.

Smoking

No smoking allowed inside the cottage

Pets

No pets are allowed in the cottage with the exception of guide dogs.
